Apply for Agent ID

Apply for your Agent ID

CAREALL Digital Services is a PAN distributor. Apply here, and once your application is accepted we issue your business an Agent ID. From then on your business runs all four PAN services itself: the details go to the government, and the government issues the PAN to your customer.

CAREALL issues your Agent ID — then it runs like this

  1. Your customerComes to you needing a PAN
  2. YouYouYou complete the service on your ID
  3. The governmentAllots the PAN and issues it directly

No step in the middle. CAREALL is not a mediator once your ID is live.

What an Agent ID is

A PAN service of your own

Customers ask the businesses they already trust about PAN, and most businesses have to turn that away. An Agent ID changes that: the customer stays yours, and you do the work.

It is the PAN part of what a customer-service centre such as an e-Sevai Maiyam offers — PAN only, not the wider list of services such a centre handles.

CAREALL's part ends at set-up. Once your ID is live there is no queue behind you, no file to send on and nobody to wait for: you deal with the customer, and the application goes to the government from your desk.

CAREALL Digital Services runs its own walk-in document office in Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli, and Agents work the same four routes it does.

Who it suits

  • A shop, service centre or cyber café that customers already visit for paperwork
  • A customer-service centre that wants to add PAN to what it already handles
  • A tax, accounts or documentation practice whose clients ask about PAN

Every application is reviewed by CAREALL. Applying is not an acceptance.

CAREALL Digital Services is a PAN distributor. It issues a business its Agent ID, and that business then works all four PAN services on the ID itself. Ask CAREALL for the written terms before you describe the arrangement to a customer.

How PAN reaches the public

The official system, and where an Agent sits in it

Worth knowing before you represent PAN to anyone. These are the facts as the Income Tax Department and its appointed entities publish them.

The government issues PAN

PAN is a ten-digit alphanumeric number issued by the Income Tax Department, as a card or an e-PAN. The number itself is allotted by the Department — by nobody else.

Two entities are appointed to process applications

The Department has appointed Protean eGov Technologies and UTIITSL to receive and process PAN applications. It states that no other entity is authorised to do this on its behalf.

They reach the public through centre networks

Those two entities deliver through networks of facilitation centres, PAN centres and PAN service agencies across India, alongside their online routes.

Your business works inside that system

CAREALL is not appointed by the Income Tax Department, and neither is an Agent. CAREALL is the distributor that issues your business the ID to work within the system.

Checked against official sources in September 2026. PAN allotment statistics (Income Tax Department), and the official PAN portals are linked in the footer of every page. CAREALL is not affiliated with any of them.

What your business can offer

Four PAN routes, and nothing you have to guess

Your ID covers all four — the same four CAREALL runs itself. Knowing which one a customer needs is most of the job, and it is what set-up walks you through.

  • New PAN ApplicationWho is the PAN for?
  • PAN Correction / UpdateWhat needs correcting or updating?
  • Lost / Damaged PAN AssistanceWhat happened to the card?
  • Business / Organisation PAN AssistanceWhat type of organisation?

How an Agent works

One set-up, then it is yours

CAREALL appears once, at the start. After that the roles are simple: you serve the customer, and the government issues the PAN.

  • Agent: agent action
  • CAREALL: assistance
  • Official process: outcome
  1. CAREALL

    CAREALL issues your Agent ID

One set-up conversation. After that the ID is yours and your business is open for PAN.

  2. Agent

    A customer comes to you

A new PAN, a correction, a lost or damaged card, or an organisation PAN. They are your customer.

  3. Agent

You complete the service on your ID

You work the case yourself, start to finish. The application details go to the government from your business.

  4. Official process

    The government issues the PAN

The PAN is allotted and sent to your customer directly, exactly as it is through any other agent.

What you get

Everything arrives at set-up

Not a subscription and not a service desk behind every case — one hand-over that leaves your business able to work PAN on its own.

Your own Agent ID

The access that lets your business work all four PAN services itself, instead of sending customers elsewhere.

All four routes, not one

New PAN, corrections and updates, lost or damaged cards, and organisation PAN — the same four CAREALL runs itself.

Set-up, walked through

Your ID working, and the four routes explained, before your first customer stands in front of you.

Clear document lists

What each route genuinely requires — and, just as important, what a customer should never be asked for.

Nothing to build

No system of your own and no process to design. Your business opens for PAN with what it already has.

Safe-handling rules

The rules CAREALL works to, handed over at set-up: never ask for an OTP, never ask for a portal password.

The application

What CAREALL goes through with you

There is no online application to submit and no fee to pay on this page. Onboarding is a conversation, and these are the four things it covers.

  1. Your business

Where you trade, the customers you already serve, and whether PAN fits what they come to you for.

  2. Who will use the ID

The person who will handle applicants, and the languages they work in.

  3. Set-up and the four routes

Getting the ID working, and walking through the four PAN routes so nothing is guesswork on day one.

  4. The terms

What the ID covers, what it does not, and the terms — confirmed with you directly, in writing.

What this programme is not

CAREALL would rather lose an Agent than mislead one. These limits are part of the offer.

  • CAREALL Digital Services is not a government department, and this website is not an official government website.
  • An Agent is onboarded by CAREALL. That is not an appointment by a government department, and an Agent must never describe it as one.
  • The PAN is allotted and issued by the government. Neither CAREALL nor an Agent approves, issues or prints a PAN card.
  • Once the ID is issued, an Agent works independently. CAREALL is not a mediator between an Agent and its customers, and is not a party to what they agree.
  • The programme covers PAN only. It is not a general service centre, and it does not cover any other government service.
  • CAREALL makes no promise of earnings, customer volume, approval or processing time.

Before you apply

What people ask before they start

Plain answers, including the ones that are less comfortable than a sales page would give.

What does my business actually do?

All four PAN services, on your own Agent ID: new PAN, corrections and updates, lost or damaged cards, and organisation PAN. You identify the route, collect what it requires, and complete the application yourself. The details go to the government from your business.

Does my work go through CAREALL?

No. CAREALL issues the ID and sets you up; after that you work independently. CAREALL is not a mediator in your cases, does not re-handle your applications, and does not come between you and your customer.

Who issues the PAN, and who does it go to?

The government allots the PAN and sends it to your customer directly. Nobody at your business, and nobody at CAREALL, issues or prints a PAN card.

Do I need my own licence or registration for PAN?

Ask CAREALL before you begin. An Agent works on an ID issued by CAREALL as its distributor, and CAREALL confirms in writing what that ID covers. Do not describe the arrangement to a customer until you have that in writing.

What will I earn?

CAREALL does not publish a figure, and you should be wary of anyone in this field who does. What your business charges its customers is settled as part of the terms CAREALL confirms with you directly.

Can I offer other government services on this ID?

No. The ID covers PAN only. It does not make your business a general service centre, and it does not cover any other service.
